We are keen to recruit more volunteers to help with our very worthwhile service – if you can offer a little of your time and/or your skills and talents then please contact the Coordinator on 07841072907 to discuss the role of the volunteer.
The garden is to be found within the grounds of the Church of Ireland Bishop of Derry and Raphoe’s residence on the Culmore Road in Derry. The house was built in 1865 and has a beautiful walled garden within its domain.
This garden has now been reclaimed and is open as a quiet place to sit, think, pray and enjoy time away from the rush and stress of daily life.
While the garden is owned by the Church of Ireland, all types of groups are welcome:-
Womens groups, church groups, committees, schools, youth groups, seniors’ groups, garden clubs
There is wheelchair access to all areas – it is open to individuals without appointment, but we ask groups to book in before visiting.
Groups visiting the garden are asked for a small donation for maintenance.
SO COME ALONG AND ENJOY THE PEACE OF THIS LOVELY GARDEN
